AND THEN, THE FINAL ONE

Hey,
Nice blog site. Was just wondering if you lads can fix your 'join this site' handle. I have tried joining your site a lot of times but it simply wouldn't let me. I am a regular visitor. Thank you.

Fred - Texas, United States

  • Hi Fred, thanks for calling our attention to this. We used to advice users not to visit the site using Opera mini as it does not fully support our format. But we have fixed the issues and encourage you to go ahead with your sign up.

BUT HERE IS A FAN WHO DOES NOT LIKE CERTAIN THINGS

Good day sir.
I only started reading from your blog a few days ago. Even though I enjoy some of your write ups, I still don't like how you take sides in some matters. I think as a news site, you should always remain neutral. Thank you.

Mustafa Mohammed - kano

  • Hi Mustafa, while we understand your frustration, we do wish to emphasize here that we are not a news site. We are simply a blog that encourages civil interruption on issues that matter most by exciting the public positively through sensitive topics. We hope you understand this stance while you also enjoy other sections of the blog. Thanks for writing in.

A COUPLE OF MAILS ON THE POSITIVES IN NIGERIA

Hello 360talkatives,
I wish to react to a write-up I came across while traveling last Thursday. It was locally written but it was heavily critical of Nigeria and its leadership. I want to say that I do accept that we are far from the best we can be but despite all the negative reports about Nigeria, I do not focus on the problems but rather the solutions, I see endless opportunities with all these negatives this writer reports. we must not keep reciting the problems but rather start effecting changes little by little. The more developed nations of the world also have their problems too. Not until we start creating a positive National image for ourselves, I fear that we will deteriorate even further. I choose to see this nation differently..... I believe in this nation, one day I will reap the goods. Most nations have have not even gone through half of the things we have been through are already aflame, but we are still here.... this nation deserves an applause, though we are not there yet but give us time, be patient with us. I am A NIGERIAN.

Bayo - Ibadan

Hello,
Sending this mail after reading some reports from some quarters clamoring for the division of Nigeria given the current release from BOKO HARAM on the kidnapped girls. I think most people are actually missing the point; clamoring for Nigeria to separate is not the answer. Nigeria as the most populous country in Africa has something going for her as far as human resources goes. I believe that our human resources is one of the best asset she has going for her. Leadership problem is what we have. If the Northern people are not as educated as the Southerners, it is the fault the power that be. If the North and the South are on the same page, I believe that will have good leaders. Because people do not know how to right the wrong that has been done to them, they decided to be sour losers "BOKO HARAM". In the name of every thing that makes sense how there you say that Western Education is bad.

Sam - Ikotun

Hey,
I am responding to the current popular news claiming that Nigeria are having serious human rights issues. I feel a lot of this lies beyond just the nigerian armed forces and para-military. A lot of enlightenment has to go on in our society for us to truly move forward, we are a country with great wealth and resources, but the elite have allowed greed to blind them of the bigger picture. I do agree that most of the solutions would rely on the youth as this is already a decayed ruling class. We must look to abandon tribal and religious differences and look at ourselves as one.

Micheal - OAU

AND FINALLY A TROUBLING MAIL FROM A FOOTBALL FAN

Hi talkative,
I saw this question on nairaland and even though I responded to it there, I still want to ask the same thing here. Between Hazard and Sanchez, who is better? I want people who use this site to post their replies here. The two players' games yesterday were just the bomb. That is why I am asking this again.

Football fan - Benue
