WE
START WITH A FAN'S STERN ENERGY DRINK WARNING:
I was reading from the comments
thread to the energy drink post you guys dropped on your site and was shocked to
find a comment from one Nnamdi or so. He claimed he was still in doubt if the
dude actually died from drinking energy drinks. Gosh! Dude?! Like seriously? In
case you haven't heard before, Yes
they can kill…the amount of phenylalanine in some of them is extremely
dangerous and even worse on people with a history of skin cancer…..Try
to be wise next time bro!

A FAN WHO'S ANGRY THAT PEOPLE NOW HATE ENERGY DRINKS:
Hi 360,
I was discussing
your Energy Drink post at work this morning just before writing this mail and I
was shocked at the kind of reactions I got from co-workers. A female colleague
even went as far as abusing and using derogative words on people who take
energy drinks. Her main issue was why people take them despite the health
issues that have always been associated with them? But hey! How's that
anybody's problem? Well, then don’t drink them! If there is an underlying
health issue and you know that you shouldn’t drink something or have something
then why in the world would you do it? I mean its common sense people! I mean
it's sad when anyone dies, but people need to STOP blaming everyone and
everything and STOP being SUE crazy.

BUT
THESE GUYS HERE ARE NOT INTERESTED:
Hey,
Your energy drink story is quite hilarious. Even though I may not be in
a position to argue if the dude actually died from the drink, I still have a
point to make using this mail. Now, you can agree that many coincidental
events, including deaths happen after many medications, foods and drinks. This
is especially true when there are millions of consumers of such products. “Post
hoc ergo propter hoc”, Latin for “after this, therefore because of this”, is a
logical fallacy. Only a detailed investigation can tell whether the death was
caused by the drink or not. By the way, why don’t they ban cigarettes which
kill millions every year with confirmed causal relationship attached to the
sticks?

Hi,
After reading your post on the energy drink gamble death, I decided to Google
'energy drink death' and was very amazed by what I saw. I realized that there
has been many deaths worldwide linked to energy drinks. I will regard anybody a
fool to want to take loads of these drinks despite all the death statistics
coming out of them. Period. Now, is it my problem? Far from one!

WELL,
THIS PARTICULAR LADY FEELS 8 CANS AINT MAN ENOUGH:
8 cans? And he died? He must be a
joke. Due to the nature of my job (I own a dance house, a saloon and a functioning
record studio house), I used to take over 18 or there about cans across 24
hours before I was advised by a doctor to stop the rate of intake. Now I have
dropped to just 4 a day but believe me, if I were on a bet, I can freely take at
least 15 cans all at once. Wake the dude up please!

BUT
OVER HERE FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT - PHUKET MAILS ARE BACK:
Hey,
When I first read about the Phuket Vegetarian festival through an old
book I had on Thailand, I thought it’s something about food, but then I've just
seen these crazy pics here and I think I've completely lost it! This looks
absolutely insane! I would never have expected a Vegetarian Festival to be like
this… I imagined a little more hippy like stuff or so… just instinctual-ly.

While reading your Phuket festival post, I actually
went from, "huh; ouch" to "hell noooo" real fast!

I don't want to criticize anyone's beliefs, but...
nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. O-m-f-g, that just looks terrifying! No sudden
movements, or your face would be ripped off. Yikes.

THESE
GUYS STILL TALK PHUKET BUT THEY REALLY MADE US LAUGH:
Hi,
I just want to say that, I would hate to see what
happens if one of those chaps with knives all over their lips and faces, sneezes...
...Benjamin
-Abuja , Nigeria
Huh? Interesting how there's barely any blood. But what
the hell do you think they do after the festival to have to take all that crap
out of themselves again? Are their faces just gonna be hanging off like that?

THEN
FINALLY, A BEAUTIFUL FOOTBALL MAIL, FROM A THIERRY HENRY FAN:
Hi 360talkatives,
If you will accept thank you letters to Thierry
Henry, I thought I'd give one a go.
When I was nine, Ian Wright left Arsenal. I read
it on Teletext and hid behind the back of my nan's sofa and cried. We'd just
won the double but my favourite player was now gone. What would become of me?
Of us?
Not all that long later, Thierry Henry walked into Highbury and into my life. Nothing has been the same ever since. Of course, I love Vieira, Bergkamp, Adams, Pires, etc for all that they did for Arsenal, but Henry will, I'm pretty certain, remain my all-time favourite player.

You can only possess that level of arrogance and
grace if you have the talent to match it, and thankfully he had it in spades. I
can't even count the amount of times he made me happy/smile while wearing an
Arsenal shirt, and perhaps his comeback goal against Leeds was even my
favourite - simply because it was him and he was meant to score that night.
I'm sure many Irish fans will write in this
afternoon slating him for being such an awful human being and yes, that was a
mistake he made. But don't let it cloud you're judgment on a player who was
simply one of (if not) the best that the Premier League has seen.
So happy retirement to Thierry Henry, I won't
forget the times we shared. Mainly because even at 25, I still find myself on
YouTube watching montages of the glory days.
