DEBATEatives: Lots of men have issues with having their wives drive them around. They give several excuses as to why they will never allow that to happen with them. Equally, some ladies won't even suggest it to their husbands for various reasons too. It raises that question, who can?
WHAT'S BEEN SAID:
For the men who oppose, their main point has always been that it is rather demeaning to see themselves driven around by their wives. It translates to giving up control, which they don't wish to do.For the ladies who oppose, their argument remains that society will easily perceive them as authoritarian if they drive their husbands. Avoiding doing so was a good step to eliminating such views.

So what about you? What do you think? As a guy, are you fine with your wife/potential-wife driving you? As a lady, will you easily have your husband/potential-husband in the passenger's seat while you drive? Tell us your thoughts.-------

ReplyDeleteI cannot drive with my husband in the car talk less of claiming that I am driving him. He is naturally a fault-finder and since he is bound to find faults, he always points to what I did wrong and what I didn't do wrong on the road even though he can't pull a gear. So.......NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! I can't drive my hubby! Love him so much though!

On the other hand, 41% of men said that their driving skills decrease when their wives is the passenger seat-----------------Fact: No man should drive their wives! Wives should trek or hire a wheel barrow!

DeleteI believe that most of the time a husband’s driving behavior is being affected because women are more likely to talk, to ask for our opinion about a subject they’re thinking in that moment and related topics. This usually ends up having a bad effect on us. I am of the opinion that a wife should have his own car and only be in the same cars with the husbands occasionally.
ReplyDeleteThe way a wife drives is affected when her husband criticizes almost everything she does, simply because they would do it in a different way (and always think that their ways are always the best). Women will normally not want that. At least i wont want that!
ReplyDeleteIt is not just only when you drive them. Even if they can drive and you cannot. Most men do not have the patience to teach their wives how to drive. They always scream at every little mistake the wife commits. Finally, don't expect women to feel free to drive their men if that is the kind of reaction they get.
