THEN
HERE ARE THE COUPLE MAILS WE RECIEVED FROM/ON MEXICO:
Ditto,
I wish to
react to the current missing students situation in my country. This goes so
much deeper than any of us can comprehend. The corruption in Mexico is so
ingrained into the banking, the government, the police, the drug cartels --
they are all connected. The only way this will go away is if the good citizens
of Mexico will rise up and fight to take it back. They won't be able to do it
peacefully. It will have to be a civil war. They will have to find weapons as I
believe Mexico has strict gun control laws (at least for its law abiding
citizens) to keep them helpless. It's really sad.
...Bento - Sinaloa,

Hi,
About Mexico
missing people. They want to know where the students are? Ask the 36 police
officers they have in jail now, and the 17 gang members they arrested! They
know the exact place! They were the ones in charge of their custody!
...Paula
Well, our
government made a huge mistake with handing weapons to cartels with the so called
Fast and Furious program. Seems we have done that a lot, only to bite us back. Anyways,
this program allowed anyone to purchase weapons and ammo without background
checks because the weapons were suppose to be tracked in order to catch the
main leaders. This was the period when the number of murders and violence began
to skyrocket in Mexico. This only came to light because of the Arizona border
agent that got killed by drug runner and weapon traced back to gun shop. The
bottom line is these kidnappings and murders happen daily. Which no one wants
to report out of fear. These murders kill for the heck of it now, they are so
drugged and power hungry. This is why Mx isn't concerned with Isis, they
witness brutalities daily from cartels and the dead are displayed in such a
heinous manner. Just youtube or look at violence in Mx images. All this because
people want to get high!

BUT
THERE IS SO MUCH TALK ABOUT SPACE TOURISM & VIRGIN GALACTIC:
Hi
360talkatives,
I read your
piece on the space thingy and I really do buy your view. Yeah, but I really
hope these don't lead to there being more sanctions against it. There are going
to be accidents that happen along the way, but in order for humanity to
progress these mistakes are going to have to happen so that we can learn from
them and improve upon it.

Hi
talkatives,
Apart from
doing some extraordinary things in space, can we remind ourselves that NASA has
contributed to our lives in other ways? NASA inventions: Smoke detectors,
cordless tools, ear thermometers, remote controls, etc etc. Space is the
future; just as you rightly put it in your submission.

AND
SOME PEOPLE REALLY ENJOY THE SPACE THING:
Hy,
This
argument about if this is the right thing to be doing at the moment pisses me
off to no end. NASA uses such a small fraction of the national budget. And even
if it was extraordinarily expensive... I mean...it's f**king outer space. It's
worth it.
...Joe, New

Greetings of
the day,
I agree with
you on your write up concerning the space program in America. I feel it is a
good one, despite the criticism. Especially considering all the commercial
technologies and advancements that come out of the space program. Also consider
the talent impact it's had in their country. Some of the smartest men I know
had just one dream: to move to America and get a job at NASA (I'm from India).
NASA is still the benchmark for science and technology in a country like India,
even more so than Google or Apple or anyone else. The media here will make it a
point to mention "NASA engineer" by name in a news story. These guys
probably earned thousands of brilliant brains because of NASA. Many of these
ended up creating companies and researching technologies that had billions of
dollars of impact. You have got a wonderful point. It has been a huge talent
draw, and that talent doesn't always remain contained at NASA.

WHILE
OTHERS DON'T:
Hey,
Call me
pessimistic all you want but, I don't see why they waste money on such rubbish
rather than fixing the economy. These f*****s grew up in the space race, saw
the moonlanding but then crippled our economy. They should f**k off!
...Marcos - Illinois
Hi,
For all the
love-in on 'willing to spend next Christmas in space' can I say that until I've
seen Mr. Branson and his family travel out into space with his 'toy' space
shuttles, and only a zillion times even; can I say I am comfortable with being
convinced to pay to be driven to space. Right now, it is a non-jihadist suicide
mission. Have a nice month ahead, you lot.

I think there's
a thing people who argue against space programs forget. Even if they ignore the
ridiculously tiny portion of the federal budget they work with, or the fact
that they advance science every day, NASA has created a crap ton of stuff we
now use our daily routines as a result of the necessities of space or research
done in the process.

AND
THEN A FAN ANGRY WITH US:
Please can
you look at the NTSB statement or the report from abc. There was an uncommanded
activation. Nobody said the copilot commanded the activation. How irresponsible
can you be to blame the pilot in this manner. !!! Please respect other people
for crying out loud!!!
...Sarah - U.S.A
· Hi
Sarah, we have not blamed the pilot(s). We only said that the first reports
published has placed the first blame on the pilots. It is the reports not us.
A
MOTHER WHO NEEDS YOUR HELP:
Good day everybody,
I felt this
platform was good enough to make this request, so I am sending this mail for
people to help me. I have a son who is a deep cultist. I have done everything possible
to get him to denounce his group and friends but he does not listen to me. Last
Thursday, he was involved in crime and is currently being pursued by the
police. He visited home on Sunday and thinking I was aware of the crime,
threatened to kill me if I told the police about his whereabouts. I am feeling
very frightened but the love I have for him as a son does not allow me imagine
him spending the rest of his life in prison. Please can someone advice me on
what to do? It appears every passing day brings either my death or his death
close. I am desperate!

MAILS
ON THE ANSWER TO LAST SUNDAY'S HAZARD VS SANCHEZ QUESTION:
Eden Hazard
or Alexis Sanchez? I think the guy who sent this question is nuts anyway. If
you watch football, you'd know they cannot be compared since they are not of
same positions.
...Chukwuka

Hi,
Both players
are in the running for best player in the Premier League and are both having
brilliant seasons so far. Both have similar playstyles, running at defences
with speed, poise and purpose and both players have a great eye for a pass.
While Sanchez is doing far better statistically with 7 goals and 3 assists to
Hazard's 4 goals and 2 assists I believe there is not much separating these two
players at all.
...Paul -
Delta
Hazard is
the better player, however at the moment he is not the center of Chelsea's
offense, if you watch Chelsea game you would see even though he only assisted
twice and scored 4, he has been involved in most of Chelsea's goals this
season, sometimes even assisting the assister. However, Sanchez is good but I
guess we all can agree he is the only good thing offensively for arsenal thus
he starts and finishes pretty much every attack for arsenal and therefore
better stats at the moment.
...Mark -
Finland
You can
compare stats more in-depth on squawka, although IMO they aren't going to tell
you the whole story. Personally I think Hazard is better, to answer your
question.
...Gin -
Spain
One point:
Hazard takes on defenders which opens up space for Costa / others.
...John
Terry - UK
Hy,
I think
hazard is better. I think pointing to stats is a bit awkward as Sanchez is
basically the only good point for Arsenal right now whereas Hazard is playing
on one of the best teams in Europe. Hazard doesn't need to force the game as
much. That said, maybe needs to improve his goal scoring a bit. He should have
scored against United last time, even if they did off the corner.
