FEAR
He logged into his Gmail account and
synced his phone with his account, he watched as his mails rolled in;
necessarily shocked by the things he was seeing. Then it hit him that all his
long lost contacts were back. With a cloud of shock and a bit of excitement, he
scrolled through them and then he came to that name and stopped. He
couldn't really believe his eyes. "Was he really seeing things?", his
head asked him. He subsequently looked closely at his phone and
opened it, it was it, it was really it. Her number! He couldn't believe it was
there like the rest. He was forced to smile, remembering her. Her person. He
was wishing he could see her again. He sighed.
In fact, he was going to call her.
There and then the urge to hear her filled his thoughts. Before he could put
himself together, he dialed her number without thinking of what to say. She did
pick on the second ring and then everything went numb with him.
"Hello" she said. He was
lost for words. Just hearing her voice made his heart race a thousand miles and
back in a minute.

Waking up to the blazing alarm on her
bedside table she hit the clock and snuggled deep into her duvet, today she
didn't feel like getting up or doing anything but as she remembered that she
had an appointment with the Alade's by 8am, she sighed and sat up on her bed. Stretching
her limbs, she checked the time. It was 6.30am. She did her morning devotion and
went down to put the kettle on for some coffee while she waited for it to boil.
As if on cue her little baby came down from the stairs whistling while she
hopped.
"Morning mum", Bridget said
"Morning darling, how was your
night?"
"Fine mum". Just then the
phone rang, she reached out to the phone and said hello waiting to hear who's
on the other side.
"Hello, hello who's
calling?" she asked further when she received no answer but just then, the
line went dead.
Wondering who it was, she dropped the
phone.
"Who was that mum" Bridget
asked
"I don't know baby. Here
take," she gave her some money for school.
"Run along so you don't end up
late"
"Ok mum, ciao.... love you"
"Love you too darl."
Just then the kettle whistled and she
went ahead and poured some coffee into her cup, dragging herself up to go prepare
for the day.
